HOMETOWN

Washington, D.C.

Aisha Momaney was born and raised in Vermont and was always taught to love and appreciate good food and cooking. Following a short stint at Boise state university, she moved to NYC to pursue a job in the culinary field. Aisha attended French culinary institute at 20 and graduated with honors. Following culinary school she worked at USHGs North End Grill working her way up from pastry cook to pastry sous chef. After spending four years there Momaney worked at Ilili and then George Mendez’s Michelin starred Aldea. Following Aldea she went to AMG’s Vaucluse and worked her way from pastry sous chef to executive pastry chef. Aisha spent four years working there and then left due to Covid layoffs. This ended up being for the best as it was the catalyst for her moving to Washington DC where she is now the corporate executive pastry chef for 101 Hospitality Group.
