If you haven't experienced it, it's hard to explain. We work the hardest to improve the chef experience and it comes through in the food and positivity during the dinners.
Guests frequently comment they'd like to see the menus in advance and we understand that desire. However, the format is designed to remove restrictions from the chefs' creative process and that means we don't know the preliminary night dinner menus until typically a week or two before the event. The collaborative menus are not set until the day of so it's as big of a surprise to us as it is the guests.
A first of its kind festival, Indie Chefs’ COMMUNE is a two week long series of micro-events run by a collective of acclaimed chefs. Consider it the “anti-food festival” of the year - a festival that is equitable, gives back to the community, champions social justice, and is committed to addressing systemic issues facing the hospitality industry.
