We take COVID precautions seriously

COVID POLICY

OUR POLICY:

Built on the premise of in-person collaboration and bonding, the past two years of navigating a pandemic has posed challenges for our mission. However, with caution and following CDC guidelines, we have been able to bring the series back to life, setting the stage for a much-needed “rebirth” of the culinary community. We waited 18 months to start back up out of an abundance of caution for our staff, participants, and guests. We chose not to resume operations until the COVID vaccines were widely available, and since resuming events, all chef participants and staff at each event have voluntarily provided us with proof of vaccination. We require all participants and staff also take an antigen test and prove negative results 24 before arriving for the event and do health checks upon arrival and throughout their stays. Any members of our staff and participants will be isolated from the group should there be any symptoms at any point during their stay.

In addition, when possible, we aim to host all programming outdoors to limit the potential for the spread of COVID. Although some tables are communal, we aim to seat groups individually when possible. All chefs are staying in rooms by themselves, and we maintain strict hygiene standards in both the preparation, production, and serving of food and beverages. 

Although masks are optional, we ask that all guests do their best stop the spread by keeping their hands washed and follow all CDC guideline and recommendations. We also ask that any guest that is showing symptoms of COVID or has been exposed to another person that has tested positive for COVID does not attend the event. 

REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS DUE TO COVID:

If you have a positive COVID test or are exposed to another person with COVID, please email us at hello@indiechefs.com with details about your situation. We may request additional information before making a refund decision. All sales are final and non-refundable and we reserve the right to decline your request for a refund. However, we will make decisions on a case-by-case basis.
