Sasha is a native Angeleno and self-taught Pastry Chef. She has worked for Roxana Jullapat at Cooks County from there she spent two years at Gjusta Bakery and then moved on to be the Pastry Chef at Sqirl for 2.5 years where she cultivated creativity among her pastry cooks with an ever changing pastry case. Sasha most recently started a cottage bakery called May Microbakery in Los Angeles. She is passionate about whole grains, the seasonality of local farmers market, small batch baking and incorporating food justice and community activism into her work.
