Indiana native and Chef de cuisine, Chase Voelzbrings 12 years of experience tothe Bludornteam.Chase earned his Associates degree in Culinary Arts andbachelor’s degree in food servicemanagementfrom Johnson andWales in Denver, Coloradobefore pursuing a career inhospitality. Voelz has worked in some of the country’s most celebrated restaurants includingCafé Boulud in New York, Husk in Nashville and Chicago’s prestigious Roiseter.Chaseisexcitedto cookforourunique community stating “Houston is such a diverse city. Being new in town, Iam excited to learn more and dive into themelting pot of culture and cuisineithas to offer.”With a passion for learning more about Southern food, Chase is passionate about Bludorn’smenu which emphasizes the use of gulf seafood and local fare.When not in the kitchen, Chasecan be seen scouting fresh produce and new purveyors and Urban Harvest Farmer’s Marketalongside his fiancé Nikki and their English Bulldog, Huckleberry.
