Nicholas Bazik is the Executive Chef of 13th Street Kitchens and oversees the culinary direction of the restaurant portfolio, while setting the tone and direction of all new concepts. Bazik is a Pennsylvania native and mastered his culinary skills during his 14  years of experience across Philadelphia kitchens. Notably, Bazik worked in the kitchens of James, Fork, Russet, Bistrot La Minette, Lacroix, and The Good King Tavern. Bazik enjoys nurturing young talent, the challenges of overseeing multiple concepts and the unique opportunities that come with designing distinct menus to reflect each concept’s personality and brand. Bazik has been nationally recognized as a Zagat “30 Under 30.” Bazik currently resides in Philadelphia with his wife, Eunbin, their son Emile, and two cats, Hecuba and Cassandra. Outside of the kitchen, Bazik can be found exploring different cuisines, new restaurants, reading or traveling.
